The U-Pick season for summer 2016 has now ended at Saskatoon Michigan Farm and Nursery. What a delightful, but condensed season. The heat this month accelerated ripening and shortened our picking window.
There is still one more half day to get fresh saskatoons at the Elk Rapids Farmers Market, and that day is tomorrow morning, Friday, July 15th, 8:00 AM – Noon.
We will keep you posted on prepared products such as fruit fillings once those batches are made up.
